Lindowan Open day Sunday 6th May 2018.  President Jane Wright with some of the guests and Martin Guthrie at the successful open day where youngsters were taught to fly fish and the guests enjoying a sunny day tempting fantastic brown trout. To finish the day, all enjoyed barbecued Burgers, Tandoori Chicken and King prawn Kebabs. John Macrae kindly assisted with the buffet. Thank you to all that supported this initiative,  Our President, Jane Wright receiving two of three trophies, The Burgh Quaich and The Tom Taggart Trophy for the club champion award, Well done Jane. We celebrated the event with 30 members and guests at the Kilcreggan Hotel who enjoyed good food and excellent service. Martin Guthrie won the Jim Auld Trophy for the best fish caught from Lindowan... This is the website for the Cove and Kilcreggan Angling Club. We have been established for about 56 years and are based in Argyll & Bute, on the West Coast of Scotland. We have a growing membership of around 80 members. Our club waters include 2 lochs regularly stocked with brown trout. We hold regular competitions and social outings and we are always on the lookout for new members. Jane Wright, our 2013 club champion, Jane still holds the Stan Clark trophy which is won by winning the club champion three times in a row.  2017 Club Champion- Jane Wright.
